The region's magnificent waterways encourage all types of aquatic pursuits - excellent family fishing all year round (an abundance of Flathead, Whiting, Tailer, Snapper and Jewfish); game fishing (the annual February Interclub Tournament provides a great sporting and social occasion); scuba diving; the easily accessible waterways lends itself to leisurely cruising with the resident bottle-nose dolphins keeping you company and amused and the visiting whales providing the excitement of the wild.
